Job description

We are seeking a full time Medical Operations professional to fill the Operations Specialist role with management experience to join our team in St. Louis.

  • Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Companys Office Operational procedures, reporting on the performance and initiating improvements through a weekly status report to the Director of Operations.
  • Evaluate and develop techniques for the control of operations, quality, reliability and safety.
  • Act as Office Inspector, office OSHA and office Safety Officer including ongoing manual maintenance and communication with company-assigned officers.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations of assigned offices, delegating job tasks and duties as necessary.
  • Responsible for office and equipment upkeep including cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequately staffed offices.
  • Monitor performance, attendance, certifications, and required documents of office staff.
  • Monitor all physician licenses, city, county, state and federal licenses and certificates.
  • Supervise, mentor, coach and administer work plans and directives to staff.
  • Monitor office scheduling to ensure office preparedness and efficient daily workflow to assure that quality services are delivered in a coordinated, integrated manner.
  • Perform annual performance appraisals on quantifiable and objective criteria utilizing agency forms, conversation records, written employee warnings and checklists designed for evaluations.
  • Arrange and facilitate monthly meetings with staff and provide for mandated training and updating.
  • Review and interpret monthly, weekly, daily reports and checklists, making sure they are completed accurately and forwarded to appropriate management personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and work hours necessary for completion.


EDUCATION

Required High School Diploma

Preferred Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medical Assistant (MA)Certification

Preferred Associate or Bachelor Degree


EXPERIENCE

Required Two years on-the-job experience in an occupational health setting or similar medical setting.

Required 1-2 years prior supervisory experience in an occupational health or similar medical setting.

  • Leadership, supervisory and management knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workloads and deadlines
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret, apply and teach various policies and procedures
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Be tactful, diplomatic, mature and flexible
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet and office equipment
