Medical Front Office Assistant - Part time (with some Full Time hours)

Previous medical office experience helpful.

In this position you will be performing the following:

• Answering incoming phone lines
• Placing outgoing calls to patient, pharmacies & other medical offices
• Call patients for appointment reminder calls daily
• Schedule and revise patient appointments as needed
• Scanning incoming documents into our patient EMR software and routing each to the proper person
• Process documents that our providers and other staff are finished with
• Fax documents within our EMR software
• Review and complete your EMR triages through the work day
• Copy forms as needed
• You will also be trained to fill in at the patient check in position for times when other employees are on vacation
• Previous Medent EMR software not required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
