Silver Leaf PMS has a part-time contracted opportunity available for a qualified Medical Credentialing Specialist for private psychiatry practices of various sizes. We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable individual with a minimum of 2 or more years of medical credentialing experience.

What You'll Need:

• Experience credentialing mental health nurse practitioners is highly preferred
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid is required
• Ability to work independently with little direction
• Must be willing to provide services to multiple providers
• Must have your own equipment!

What You'll Get To Do:

• Scrutinize provider applications and resumes for completion, consistency and accuracy. This includes quickly identifying any discrepancies, gaps of employment and other challenges that could negatively impact our ability to credential a provider
• Running queries and conducting compliance and sanctions monitoring, as well as immediately notifying leadership and leaders of negative findings
• Mailing, faxing and emailing to obtain verifications, references and other pertinent data from appropriate sources in a timely manner
• Working closely with our physicians, client medical staff departments, and any third party groups in order to follow up on outstanding items needed to complete files in a timely manner. This is to ensure that we meet applicable committee meeting dates and targeted start dates
• Collect on past due accounts

Compensation

The starting pay for this position is $18.00/hr DOE.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
