Medical Billing Instructor

We are looking for individuals with a Medical Billing and/or a General Business background with a minimum of 2 years office experience and an interest in teaching to join our team.

The Medical Billing Instructor is responsible for teaching courses described in the Medical Office Administration with Billing and Coding program each cycle. This includes utilizing effective teaching tools such as audio/visual equipment and reference materials; preparing lesson plans and learning experiences; following an established course outline; managing a classroom of students; evaluating students through testing and other related means and reporting on and recording class and individual student progress.

Requirements:

• 2-years of experience working within a physician’s office or general office environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Google Workspace including Google Docs, Forms and Sheets preferred
• Knowledge of Medical Office procedures and EMR programs
• Knowledge of ICD-10
• An ability to learn new methodologies and systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Teaching experience a plus

Responsibilities:

• Classroom instruction
• Maintain positive student retention
• Participate in instructor training
• Classroom, laboratory and test preparation

Hours:

• Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
