Amerimed EMS (an Ambulance Service) is seeking a self-motivated, organized professional to join our Patient Accounts team. Ideally, this person should have experience in medical billing with knowledge of insurance verification. The candidate should also have advanced knowledge of working claim follow ups and appeals as well. This candidate needs to have a mature work-ethic, display exceptional patience, compassion and a caring attitude toward patient financial obligations. Must be able to work independently within guidelines to meet established goals. Candidate must be efficient, excel at time management, and must be organized.
Primary Job Function Summary:
Basic Clerical Duties
Assist with Insurance Verification as needed
Claim Follow Up
Insurance Appeal Follow Up
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
