Our medical office is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in primary care and pediatrics, and will be responsible for providing patient care and administrative support. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to provide quality patient care and ensure that all medical records are accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in providing patient care.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, filing medical records, and preparing patient charts.
• Assist with minor medical procedures such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and EKG's.
• Provide patient education on health topics such as diet and nutrition, exercise, and disease prevention.
• Assist with primary care procedures such as physical exams and immunizations.
• Assist with pediatric care procedures such as physical exams, immunizations, and developmental assessments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a medical assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant school or certified medical assistant.
• Phlebotomy certificate or experience required.
• Preferred but not required to be bilingual in Armenian or Spanish.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
