Responsibilities
Our
Medical Assistant under the direction of Physician prepares patients for examination and assists with examinations and minor office surgeries.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- High School diploma or GED
- Certification of a Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR
- California State Phlebotomy Certification (required within 12 months)
- Demonstrates skills in taking vital signs and height and weight measurements Knowledge of sterile technique and handling of infectious waste Ability to work as a team and communicate well and interact appropriately with others Able to work in spite of frequent interruptions High level of concentration and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Additional EMT or equivalent experience
