We are seeking a Medical Assistant that is hungry for personal and professional growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is able to work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, highly-organized and customer-service minded.

Holland Medi Center specializes in occupational injury as well as other specialty medical services that satisfy employer needs including physicals, drug screening, audiograms, respirator and more.

As a Medical Assistant with the Holland Medi Center, you may:

• Assist the provider with various injury-related procedures
• Take vitals and collect data
• Prepare patients for exams
• Implement provider orders (injections, blood draws, EKGs, PFTs, etc.)
• Obtain specimen samples for drug screening and urinalysis
• Provide excellent customer service to employers and their employees.
• Perform offsite services including drug screens and hearing tests
• A variety of administrative tasks

You will have the ability to obtain certifications in spirometry, hearing conservation, breath alcohol, and urine drug screening.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Accuracy, attention to detail, and completeness of documentation are critical skills due to the regulatory requirements associated with the services provided.
• Must be organized and adaptable to the changing pressures of working in a busy office.
• Take initiative and be a self-starter.
• Identify and shift focus on the needs of the clinic throughout entire shift.
• Always demonstrate the highest level of performance and behavior standards.
• Be honest and straightforward, dealing with issues fairly and consistently.
• Be supportive and acknowledge individuality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
