Our busy Gastroenterologist clinic in the Woodlands Area is seeking a bright, motivated individual to work as a Medical Assistant.

The candidate we are seeking must have compassion for the patients, a professional appearance, excellent communication, grammar and organizational skills, strong ability to be punctual, dependable, and a positive, energetic attitude. As a Medical Assistant the task would include rooming patients, taking vital signs and assisting the providers in the exam room as well as other varied task.

Position Requirements:

*2 years of experience in medical office/clinic. (Gastroenterology Required)

*Team Player

*Experience with (EMR) E-clinicals a plus.

*Highly organized and detail oriented

*Excellent communication skills oral and written; able to communicate effectively with patients and all levels within the care center

*Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

*Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced office environment

*Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

*Medical Assistant Certification a Plus.

*Bilingual speaker a plus.

* Weekly travel may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
