Plastic Surgery Medical Assistant (Newport Beach)

Very busy, upscale practice looking for a part-time medical assistant to join our team! The position will be for Tuesday, Thursday and every other Saturday. Primary responsibility is providing outstanding customer service to enhance our patient experience. This job position will include both front and back office duties.

Requirements

• Very well spoken
• Must have medical assistant certificate or higher
• Great people and customer service skills is a must
• Must be extremely reliable
• Outgoing, confident and able to connect with many personality types
• Professional presence and great etiquette in person
• Complete Team Player: Willing to do everything to support the staff and the operation of the practice.
• Above all, you must embrace plastic surgery and beauty industry. In fact, one of the biggest perks of the job is plastic surgery at cost after one year. Plastic surgery knowledge is not necessary but you must have a passion for plastic surgery.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out
• Confirm appointments
• Excellent phone skills
• Help with pre-op and post op appointments
• Taking before and after photos
• Inventory
• Assist in procedures
• Writing operative reports
• Social Media knowledge is a huge plus

• Live within 30 minutes of Newport Beach

Benefits:

Pay is dependent on your ability. Great customer service is valuable. $25-$30/hour based on how well you perform the above requirements.
