Responsibilities and Duties

· Drive product design to meet scope, quality and cost per design input

· Maintain schedules for all assigned components, assemblies and systems

· Lead and document design reviews, corrective actions and follow up documentation

· Develop budget and forecasts for assigned components and assemblies

· Review and approve engineering work done by other engineers, designers and technicians

· Assure proper documentation of components, methods and systems, is captured and submitted in adherence with company practices

· Coordinate vendor correspondence, validations, quotes and follow-ups for manufactured components and manufacturing systems

· 5-10% travel required to support vendor activities and manufacturing launch.

Qualifications

· B.S degree in Engineering, or related Technical field, required (BSEE, BSME preferred)

· 4-8 years of Design and/or Product Development experience.

· Proficient in Solidworks.

· Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office suite

· Self-motivated with strong communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
