W. H. Leary is excited about the opportunity to meet with you, and we hope you will consider joining our team as a full time Fluid Systems Engineer. This position gives you the chance to think strategically to analyze and capture customer-market-application demands, allowing you to transform them through engineering design choices that conceptualize and execute product engineering innovation.

Your responsibilities as a Fluid Systems Engineer include:

  • Contribute innovative design content in development of all aspects of fluids engineering in the specific fields of pump, regulator, and valve technology
  • Expertise in placement and functionality of manifolds and fluid delivery systems
  • Familiarity with Snuff Back, Multi-Head and Spray valves
  • Develop pressure regulating systems to ensure the ability to maintain constant system pressure
  • Design solenoid-based products and control systems
  • Develop test specifications and manage test processes for prototypes
  • Provide recommendations and design upgrades after analyzing test results
  • Make sound technical evaluations to support critical engineering decisions
  • Communicate nature and status of work performed
  • Participate in customer and vendor meetings as needed to present materials and justify product designs

Your qualifications must consist of:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the fluid systems industry
  • Experience with Fluid Pump and Fluid Regulator Unit design
  • Previous involvement in Fluid Valve development
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to resolve complex problems

It would be great if you possess:

  • A graduate certificate in Fluid Systems
  • Experience with design change control or requirements management
  • Knowledge of CAD programs; Solidworks is preferred
  • Familiarity with engineering standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
