Atec is looking for a Support Engineer to add to our Team. We are located in Stafford, Texas.

Summary
Research electrical, electronic, and mechanical design and obsolescence problems of existing company products and build-to-print jobs. Assist Engineering department with field installation efforts and ongoing field maintenance.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
Perform onsite repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
Sustain existing electrical and mechanical designs of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial and domestic purposes.
Some redesign of products to replace obsolete components.
Determine methods, procedures, and conditions for testing redesigned products and build-to-print jobs.
Work with indented Bills Of Material (BOM) to introduce new products into manufacturing system.
Modify existing BOM(s) to reflect design updates as necessary.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
