JOB SUMMARY

Prepares fabrication drawings, manufacturing instructions, and comprehensive bill of materials for custom precision cleaning and wet processing tools for worldwide applications. Works directly with Mechanical Engineers to finalize drawings, tolerances, and bill of materials.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for preparation of fabrication drawings and bill of materials for the mechanical aspect of a design. Works directly with the Mechanical Engineers on details of a design.

2. Completes tasks on time to meet system manufacturing timelines and dates for on time project completion.

3. Works cooperatively with all project team members in coordinating designs for accurate and efficient manufacturing. Communicates design constraints and works within the team to achieve effective solutions.

4. Provides timely feedback on request for information and questions from manufacturing personnel. Identifies and resolves manufacturing discrepancies and follows up with necessary revisions to manufacturing documentation to ensure complete issue resolution.

5. Interact with ERP software system for project BOM creation utilizing standard inventory materials and products.

6. Provide hands on support for engineering designs in a manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting of new mechanical components and equipment.

7. Assist in continuous process improvements with a willingness to contribute positively to discussions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. AAS degree in drafting, technical science, or engineering required.

2. Knowledgeable and competent with 3D modeling and drawings in Solidworks.

3. Knowledgeable of manufacturing processes and best practices.

4. Ability to read and understand electrical and plumbing schematics from a variety of sources and manufacturers.

5. Ability to effectively present and clearly express written and verbal information to individuals and/or groups required.

6. Ability to work and contribute within a project team.

7. Capable of working independently to drive engineering projects to completion.

8. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new practices and procedures.

9. Experience with 2-D CAD software (AutoCad, DraftSight) desired.
