Industrial Manufacturing –Mechanic

Our 85,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility produces precision light and heavy fabrications of metal (steel, stainless steel, and aluminum) from 14 gauge to 4” thick plate. Our Amerind Mining Department manufactures bulk mixing trucks and stationary mixing systems used in mines around the world. These trucks are built complete from the chassis up to handle the abuse and rough conditions of the blasting and mining industry. We are currently looking for an assembly mechanic for this department.

Required Qualifications:

• Work with team members to solve problems with fit and operation.
• Will be required to operate drills, grinders, forklifts, overhead hoist and other equipment as needed.
• Understands basic math concepts.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, bills of material, setup sheets, etc. a plus
• Able to use a wide variety of tools.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Welding a plus
• Overtime is required on a regular basis
• 4 years + of mechanical assembly experience
