Indiana Bridge, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Material Handler.

Qualifications:

• All employees must follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Be able to lift 60 lbs. repeatedly.
• Be able to stand for 8-10 hours per day.
• Be available to work all regular and overtime hours as required, including Saturdays.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical lift test.
• Must show up ready to work at 6 am on scheduled days.
• Must be able to work outside in different types of weather without issue.
• Be able to communicate with drivers and other employees within the shop without issue.

Job Description:

• Must wear PPE at all times including, safety glasses, ear protection, work gloves and safety boots.
• Review all packing lists as the trucks pull into the yard, and notate properly.
• Offload material to the proper location using the crane.
• Verify any material that is noted as a substitute on the packing list is verified and has sub information on it and is documented in the notebook that is accessible by all employees.
• Keep the infeed table full of material for the machines to run.
• Keep the yard clean and free of wood, banding and trash.
• Handler will wear a radio for communication with detail group leader.
