Position Summary:

This position performs limited aspects of material coordinator management work (e.g., storage management, turn-in of Class VII & II non-expendable, inventory management,) related to depot, local, or other supported activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require:
a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

Major Job Activities:

  • Receives materials, parts, components and major assemblies.

  • Verifies that each item has a DD1348-A1 for turn-in at the SSA level.

  • Uses FEDLOG and GCSS-Army to correct obvious mistakes, e.g., incorrect units of issue.

  • Prepares ETIDs (Electronic Turn-In Documents) and coordinate turn in between DLADS and supported activity.

  • Load and off-load incoming and outgoing stock when required.

  • Coordinates turn-ins with government accountable officer and assists with disposition via Supply Support Activity Supervisor.

  • Load and off-load incoming and outgoing stock when required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

High School graduate or equivalent.

Experience:

Two years’ experience in Supply with background in GCSS-Army operations and must have knowledge of shipping procedures.

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

Material Handling Equipment, i.e. Forklift trucks, electric and gasoline, up to 15K LB capacity. Computer knowledge for FEDLOG and GCSS-Army applications.

Pay Rate:

$26.61 per hour, plus applicable Health & Welfare fringe dollars as defined under the DOL’s Wage Determination.
