Scrap Yard Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for a new Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You must have experience working on scrap yard bailers, tractor trucks, diesel truck (18 wheelers), cranes, and forklifts.

We buy from the Public and pay in cash. We have Separate Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Buying Yards. We will even come pick-up and provide containers: 40 yard roll-offs of various sizes, 30 yard roll-offs of various sizes, 4x4 and 4x6 yard boxes, tilt hoppers and drums. We can also provide Flatbeds, Bobtails and End Dumps for live loads. We service industrial, manufacturing, demolition, construction and municipalities.

All yards are completely paved and fully modernized with three loading docks, each capable of handling four containers. We have four truck scales, two large 15 ton capacity cranes, a Harris two stroke metal baler for non-ferrous scrap and a Sierra 1000 ton baler/shearer for ferrous scrap.

We are one of the West Coast's largest handlers of non-ferrous metals, regularly shipping material domestically as well as exporting to many regions throughout the world. In addition, we handle and ship large quantities of ferrous scrap to the Far East. Our main suppliers comprise both California and out-of-state dealers as well as industrial producers of scrap. We have many long term service contracts with local municipalities, oil refineries, the US Navy and others where we service hundreds of locations throughout Southern California.
