Olmsted Auto Care is one of the greatest independent auto repair facilities to date. We are located on the west side of Cleveland just past North Olmsted before North Ridgeville. The Qualifications we’re looking for in a service technician are:

• Have a true passion of what you do!
• 10 years experience in automotive diagnosis and repair
• ASE certified or commit to certification
• Know and live by the golden rule
• Up beat personality
• Likes to gain knowledge not just through training but everyday
• Loves to take on challenges
• Promptness
• Honesty/Integrity - never put money in front of your clients' trust in your recommendations
• Good time management skills, leadership experience is a plus, ability to cook chicken wings, computer skills, communication skills, organized and clean, valid driver’s license, clean background check.
• Top Candidates have the skills to troubleshoot and diagnose virtually any electrical or noise concern.

What the technician position entails:

You are going to work as a professional among other professionals using state of the art equipment. You will have access to Mitchell, Alldata, IATN, and Identifix to get you the right information. Vehicle inspections are done digitally through tablets. Your recommendations will need to be precise and clear. You’re going to do general repair on various makes and models. The range of work is from simple oil changes to diagnostics to engine work. You’re going to be expected to be able to diagnose and repair computer and electrical concerns. A large portion of the work we do is preventative maintenance. Our customer base consists mostly of minivans, SUV’s, sedans, mostly American and Asian and some European makes.
