Our company is in need of a Massage Therapist with experience to provide expert massage and other therapies to clients. Our treatment room is fully appointed with table warmer, hot towel cabinet, hot stone unit, music, and water. Linen service and online appointment scheduling is included. As a Massage Therapist, you must be passionate about providing the highest quality treatments to our guests. You must also be able to deal with people of different personalities and maintain a professional attitude at all times. Since you’ll be responsible for dealing with sensitive information, like medical history, confidentiality is vital. Your goal will be to deliver the best massage possible while meeting our guests’ health and wellness needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a working knowledge of physiology and the theory of massage.
• Determine customer preferences and create a personalized massage treatment plan.
• Apply appropriate massage techniques, such as deep tissue, Swedish and sports massage;.
• Generate sales by showing customer how to use provided products (e.g. lotions, oils etc.), tools or furniture.
• Explain the benefits of regular massages.
• Provide customers with an ambience appropriate to the treatment with background music, dim lights etc.
• Make sure customer is comfortable throughout the massage by checking on them at appropriate intervals.
• Clean and maintain all equipment.
• Recognize which conditions require the attention of a doctor or specialist.
• Handle complaints professionally and help clients refer friends and family members to your services.
• Follow sanitation procedures strictly to avoid infections.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $63.00 per hour
