Major Duties


What to Expect

  • Responsible for working across a range of marketing disciplines to develop and implement a comprehensive and dynamic marketing plan for MCCS programs, services, and special events with an emphasis on digital marketing (social media, web, digital signage, email, etc.).
  • Utilizes a variety of communication methods and techniques, to include oral, written, visual, and personal media for the purpose of informing the general public about the programs, services, special events and policies sponsored by or affiliated with MCCS operations.
  • Develops and utilizes a variety of ideas and concepts designed to enhance awareness and utilization of MCCS facilities and services.
  • Creates engaging social media, web, and event copy/stories to generate interest of identified markets.
  • Assists in the writing of articles and press releases in support of a comprehensive marketing program for MCCS.
  • May organize, tabulate, track and research primary data, including demographics for surveys, focus groups, etc.
  • Responsible for entering survey data and producing reports.
  • Assists in communication and promotional requirements, which may include developing graphics, exhibits, brochures, calendars, and posters and other public relations activities for MCCS utilizing various software to include Canva.
  • This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications


What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of four years related background that demonstrates experience directly related to the above duties.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing or related field is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of a variety of digital and print informational marketing and media methods such as graphic arts, design, photographs, computers, broadcast, etc.
  • Must possess solid organizational and detail-orientated expertise and the ability to handle numerous projects at one time.
  • Must be skilled in using a variety of communication and informational media methods and techniques to stimulate interest of a variety of publics, which have different levels of understanding.
