Marketing Partner


WE OFFER

The Marketing Partner role is a key link between the Marketing and Sales departments providing strategic marketing guidance both internally but also to key distribution partners. Marketing Partners aid in uncovering key business needs for assigned distribution partners, channels and/or geographies and identify, recommend and execute marketing solutions to drive both top and bottom-line profits.
  • Closely collaborate with Sales to identify marketing opportunities among assigned partners, regions or product sets
  • Develop integrated solutions & campaigns that effectively drive desired business results. Partner with Creative Services & Analytical team and consult with other departments including Underwriting, Product, Legal, IT etc. to devise, implement, evaluate and measure campaign effectiveness. Apply past learnings to future efforts
  • Regularly attend partner/client meetings and actively provide marketing expertise as an added value to our distribution partners. Seek commitment from additional partners to participate in American Modern marketing programs. Use proper judgement for recommending standard off-the-shelf vs custom-built marketing initiatives
  • Write effective briefs and lead productive internal kick-off meetings to ensure execution delivers on the objectives, on time, on budget and on brand
  • In addition to assigned channel/partner/product-set, own various other projects with cross-channel impact (i.e. ad-hoc campaigns targeting specific product, geography or customer feature, software implementation, process improvement etc.)

WE EXPECT

Qualifications
  • Generally, 5+ years relevant marketing experience, Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Solid understanding of basic marketing principles and tactics
  • Demonstrates sense of urgency when approached by Client or Sales team in order to execute requested tactics on time and on budget
