MARKETING OUTREACH SPECIALIST – REWARDING WORK

The purpose of this position is to support the growth, expansion and branding of TILL’s affiliate, RewardingWork.org, which currently operates in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Kansas. Rewarding Work provides a full-service online directory and job board to help individuals of all ages with disabilities find and hire caregivers. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to developing an effective recruitment plan to increase the numbers of job applicants on the site, and overseeing the plan’s implementation statewide; managing distribution of information to inform potential employers about using Rewarding Work; and supporting the customer service team as necessary. This position is part of TILL’s Marketing and Communication Department, and reports to the Marketing and Operations Manager. Position is based in Dedham and involves occasional statewide travel in Connecticut and Massachusetts. This position exists to create a presence for Rewarding Work in each state and to ensure that potential employees and employers think of using Rewarding Work to fill their needs for jobs and support staff.

These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Build and maintain relationships through personal visits and outreach to strategic partners, including employment sites, colleges, community organizations, government agencies and Rewarding Work partners.
• Plan and attend in-person and virtual recruitment events, resource fairs and other public forums in Rewarding Work’s service areas.
• Outreach to 2- and 4- year colleges to give classroom presentations about Rewarding Work opportunities, respite training, and working in human services.
• Post about RewardingWork.org job opportunities on free and paid online job sites, college sites, state employment sites, social media groups and community boards. Manage free and paid accounts and posting and creative content. Have the ability to develop creative content and be experienced using Google analytics and keywords.
• Build and maintain online resource links to and from RewardingWork.org.
• Develop reporting systems with analysis of the information to establish trends and determine effectiveness of marketing and recruitment efforts.
• Support the customer service team in outbound and inbound service requests.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders in each state to ensure that Rewarding Work is known by all referral agencies, private connections, and throughout the community.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum BA/BS is required and five years of experience, with progressive responsibilities in administration, marketing and working with state agencies and non-profits, is preferred. Proven successful experience in recruitment, marketing and outreach within the public or private sector. Must be a self-starter and possess excellent written and oral communication skills and excellent computer skills. Valid drivers’ license and car are required.
