We’re hiring a 100% work-from-home remote marketing manager/leader to oversee the marketing deliverables we create for our clients. You’ll meet weekly on Zoom with our team of video editors, writers, marketing assistants, and the new client launch team to ensure they have everything needed for success. Each team member will bring an example of their work to their weekly department meeting (led by you), which you’ll review with them as a group. You’ll all vote on the best examples to feature in our weekly client newsletter. You’ll also choose one client video, email, social media ad, or website a week that needs improvement and lead the respective team to make it better. Last, you’ll have an assistant helping you monitor all client YouTube videos and emails we publish in real-time to make sure everything looks great to company standards. If so, you’ll give the team responsible positive feedback, and if not, you’ll meet with them to train and guide them to improve. You’ll get plenty of guidance and support by attending a daily meeting with our leadership team. Our ideal hire is an excellent listener, facilitator, leader, and coach to inspire others to do their best work.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a weekly meeting with our video editors, writers, marketing assistants, and launch team.
  • Pick the best weekly video, video email, website, and lead-generation message to feature.
  • Oversee one deliverable turnaround a week and publish the story of improvement on our website.
  • Provide feedback to our people on what they are doing well and where they can improve.
  • Monitor all videos and emails we publish in real-time to ensure they are to company standards.
  • Conduct final candidate interviews for the teams you’re leading when we need new talent.
  • Meet with employees one on one to learn what we’re doing well and where we can improve.
  • Earn the trust and respect of our team to guide them in earning a raise with a better work/life balance.
  • Meet with your assistant daily to review the past month's marketing deliverables for 20 customers.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work from home 9am – 5pm Central Standard Time on weekdays.
  • Provide own computer and internet connection.
  • 1+ year experience in a role leading employees in groups.
  • Experience overseeing marketing work for clients.
  • Positive references from past employers and direct reports.
  • Willing to complete a background check upon conditional job offer.
  • 3+ year outlook for the role.

Compensation

$40,000 - $60,000 salary + 1 week PTO + 10 days paid vacation + health insurance
