Compensation: $72,000 - $80,000 / year

  • Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate's qualifications, competencies, experience, geographic location.

In addition to base pay, MOD Pizza offers a total compensation package including:

Summary

This role is responsible for developing, managing, and executing many aspects of the local store marketing department. This role leads new store opening, and remodel marketing support, while also managing local marketing support for assigned company and/or franchise markets. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, execute, and measure marketing plans that support new store openings and remodels
  • Partner with Operations, and Store Development to determine marketing goals and priorities for new store openings and remodels aligned to performance targets
  • Forge a strong working relationship with Store Development to understand the new store opening and remodel roadmap, challenges, and timing
  • Provide local market insight, competitor information and opportunities for new store opening and remodel marketing support
  • Leads briefing and sharing of national, regional, and store-specific marketing campaigns in new and remodeled stores
  • Works with creative team to determine needs, requirements, and opportunities for ad hoc marketing materials for new store openings and remodels and refreshes yearly
  • Develop and execute local marketing plans for designated company and/or franchise markets
  • Travels to designated new store openings, remodels, and markets as needed and manage travel cost/budget
  • Fiscally responsible for new store opening, remodel, and local marketing expenditures within designated markets
  • Research and track competitive marketing activity and serve as a liaison for field leaders


Basic Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of working experience in a marketing, communications or other related role
  • Retail or restaurant experience, preferably some management
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
  • Brief writing and understanding of creative process
  • Exposure and understanding of budgeting or a P&L
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Smartsheet
  • Ability to travel, including overnight travel, up to 25%

Physical Requirements

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
