Overview

The Marketing Manager, Data & Insights reports directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing and will cover all iAnthus regions, which include the following states: Arizona, Nevada, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York. This person will be responsible for collaborating with and working cross-functionally with each of the regional teams, including marketing, retail, wholesale, finance, and operations.

The Marketing Manager, Data and Insights is a new position created to develop and implement the data & insights function within the marketing team to support the objective of creating and executing data and insights-driven strategies to achieve our goals. The ideal candidate for this role will have a combination of experience including analytics, strategy, and consumer insights. He/she will have a natural curiosity for consumer cannabis behavior and what drives purchase and will find the necessary data and insights to help answer questions to support our strategies.


Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager, Data and Insights is responsible for the following:

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards to measure, monitor and analyze marketing KPI’s and other metrics by gathering data from various internal and external sources and turning them into a visual representation
  • Synthesize syndicated data across states to draw conclusions that lead to actions that improve marketing productivity and overall business performance.
  • Promotional analysis to provide recommendations for optimizations that will generate incremental revenue
  • Manage consumer research projects including shopper experience surveys, concept tests and ad hoc research to provide insights that help drive the business
  • Conduct regular competitive audits and analysis to ensure the marketing teams understand the impact of the competitive environment
  • Communicate data and insights to internal teams and leadership to provide actionable recommendations
  • Ad hoc data analysis as needed
  • Other projects and duties as assigned


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance or other related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in a data, analyst or research role
  • Experience working in a retail or CPG marketing environment
  • Experience in the cannabis industry a plus

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and be results-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience using Power BI, Google Data Studio and Survey Monkey
  • Experience with LeafLogix POS system a plus

Salary Range: up to 90K
