Purpose/Objective of the Position

The Marketing Manager will participate in the development and lead the implementation of the marketing plans for the companies under the Button Holdings umbrella. Effective, professional execution of these plans will increase our market share and improve our brand recognition. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be a master planner and implementer of complex and detailed marketing plans. Accountable for the execution of sales and marketing plans the Marketing Manager is responsibilities for all businesses under the Button Holdings umbrella including Button Oil and Propane, Button Transportation, Button Real Estate, Blue Ridge Travel Plaza and Blue Square Builders. This role is responsible for the implementation and management of our marketing initiatives, campaigns, brands, logos, marks, donations, and sponsorships.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

· Assist with the development of annual marketing plans and the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve goals

· Effectively communicate marketing strategy and tactics to the organization

· Create, implement, and oversee communications programs internally or externally, that effectively describe and promote Button Holdings brands interests

· Manage and maintain relationships with media vendors and partners

· Develop and implement annual and seasonal marketing campaigns that deliver measurables that meet or achieve goals

· Grow brand value by way of effective positioning of our products and services and creative management of our go to market approach

· Establish clear sales metrics and benchmarks for measuring digital progress and maintaining focus; creates a companywide marketing reporting function that can track, measure, and analyze performance while providing the executive team with actionable insights

· Manage, create, build, and maintain all social media accounts

· Manage, create, build, and maintain all websites

· Manage, create, build and maintain digital reviews and online reputation

· Manage, facilitate, and implement company branding and rebranding on assets

· Assess, audit, analyze and integrate acquisitions marketing under the appropriate Button Holdings brand

· Manage the communications with new residential customers acquired via acquisitions

· Build, develop, manage, and maintain proprietary software and tools for Button Holdings

· Assist with public relations and send out regular press releases to garner media coverage

· Craft and distribute internal employee communications with HR

· Recommend and manage advertising and marketing budgets

· Manage and make recommendations for sponsorships and charitable contributions that make the most impact on Button Holdings and the communities we conduct business

· Manage and produce daily content for “Button TV”

· Conduct monthly Google Analytics reports and presents actionable insights to executive team

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Proven success developing and implementing sales and marketing business plans and budgets

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred

· A minimum of 10 years of marketing and sales experience with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments, preferred

· Strong communication and leadership skills, able to lead change, mentor and motivate individuals

· Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex sales deals

· Ability to operate at both a strategic/conceptual level and at a detailed, operational level

· Google certified partner preferred

· IAB certified preferred

· Proven graphic design skills with software of personal preference

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Must have strong attention to detail and able to manage many projects simultaneously

· A hands-on, action-oriented approach

· Video production skills preferred but not required

· Experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, sales and market development and planning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
