As the Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving the expansion of our services and territories. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives and long-term strategies to help maximize our firm's profits and market share.

In addition, you will oversee the recruitment, training, and management of a high-performing marketing and sales team. You will be responsible for the entire employee life cycle, from recruitment and hiring to onboarding and ongoing training, to ensure that our team members are well-equipped to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities listed below fluctuate depending on the time of year and the seasonality.

During the summer, your time will revolve around developing and implementing marketing projects and initiatives.

During the fall, you will support in various duties that correlate with our Christmas lights business. These duties will include but are not limited to designing custom holiday light proposals based on each homeowner's specific needs, presenting the proposal, and managing the project through its start.

During the winter (January- March), you will have the flexibility to travel and work remotely. You will assist in preparing renewal client bids.

We have a flexible work schedule to allow you time to work around anything that comes up during the day. We mainly work in the office from 9-5pm but the schedule can be flexible and allows you to work from home when needed and work "off hours" such as working in the evening or on the weekend if you want/need to take a weekday off for an appointment or personal day etc.

Lead Marketing Team in:

  • Develop marketing plans and strategies.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize marketing projects and initiatives outlined on the marketing plan.
  • Analyze and track marketing campaign effectiveness and develop weekly ROI reports.
  • Design direct mail postcards and letters to reach specific niches.
  • Manage social media accounts and put out consistent content.
  • Contributing to SEO/SEM research and development through blog content creation and key word targeting.
  • Coordinate internal employee special events.
  • Coach, lead, and supervise employees.
  • Create and manage Google Ads/ PPC and Facebook Ads.
  • Support to Sales Team:
  • Direct sales and customer service activities.
  • Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
  • Minimize service challenges through proactive communications with clients.
  • Maintain customer retention and satisfaction through handling client calls, emails, and texts.
  • Data entry and verification.

Hire and Supervise Team:

  • Supervise 2 – 4 interns and work alongside consultants.
  • Manage job board postings and overall interview, selection, and closing process.
  • Manage onboarding and new hire process.
  • Facilitate employment offers and negotiating employment terms.
  • Advise others on business or operational matters.
  • Gather data and prepare for management decision making.
  • Develop sustainable organizational policies or practices.

Qualifications

  • (Preferred): enrolled or recently graduated with a marketing or business management related degree.
  • (Preferred): previous marketing job history or manager related job history
  • Customer-centric: must be able to understand and anticipate customer needs and develop marketing strategies that align with those needs.
  • Experience with Excel, Google Drive, Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage own time under tight deadlines.
  • Intense attention to detail with accuracy and consistency.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume environment with multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to learn the trade.
  • Past job references required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
