Responsibilities:
Leader of your store; responsible to “own” your store and EVERY facet of store performance to include member experiences and the performance of your team. Responsible for developing future leaders. Lead and manage the overall sales, service and operational performance of your Store. Develop, grow, and improve member relationships and experiences to maintain existing and increase new memberships, this applies to both personal and business members. Responsible for the security and accountability of all store items.
Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Two (2) years progressive management experience within the Credit Union required, or at least three years of supervisory or management experience demonstrating ability to effectively lead and develop personnel.
  • Extensive knowledge of bank/credit union operations, products, policies, procedures and services required.
  • Demonstrated skills in sales, sales management, coaching and problem solving required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
  • Ability to function in a multi-task environment to include working as a Relationship Specialist as needed.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate issues and reach sound conclusions or decisions based on fact and in a proactive manner.
  • Outside business development and/or retail experience preferred.
  • Must meet the necessary qualifications to obtain NMLS.
  • Must possess Windows-based PC skills and working knowledge of office equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to sit and stand on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English. Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
  • Use of computer requires repetitive key strokes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Traditional retail environment.
  • Traditional and various information technology/computer equipment used to perform duties.
  • Travel to HQ or other branches/locations as needed.
  • Work a minimum of one Saturday per month.
  • Attend credit union/business related functions during business hours and occasionally, after hours.
