Overview:
Under general supervision, the Manufacturing Technician 2 performs manufacturing and assessments of production tooling and quality technical assignments in the operation. This position will be located in our Camden, Arkansas facility.

30% - Kitting and staging of tooling and components to meet manufacturing needs and schedule dates.
20% - Error proofing and identification of tooling.
10% - Coordinate tooling shipments with Tooling Engineering and buyoff of repairs with receiving inspection upon return (ensuring the responsible parties are proactive in moving tooling to repair and through inspection upon return).
10% - Manage 6s of tool storage and shop area. Requirements:
Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):
30% - Tooling condition assessment, and control of tooling entering the manufacturing areas to ensure the proper approvals and documentation are present to prevent unapproved tooling from entering the process.
30% - Kitting and staging of tooling and components to meet manufacturing needs and schedule dates.
20% - Error proofing and identification of tooling.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 1 year of related experience.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, employees may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. May also be required to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer. Some employees may be required to drive between various locations within the company facility or between locations. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. This position may be expected to work varying hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
