The candidate will ensure high yield and efficient production of sensitive electronics, oversea electrical quality, and manage obtaining and maintaining certification for electronics. Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and validate processes for manufacturing including assembly procedures, test procedures, work instructions, routers, travelers, BOMs and process flows.

-Work with design engineers to develop, maintain, and validate automated configuration and test fixtures and software to ensure high yield and quality.

- Lead improvement of existing mfg. processes for cost-reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.

- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions in response to manufacturing and electronic board issues then monitor corrective actions to ensure timely responses and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.

- Ensure that production adheres to the Quality Policy and Quality System procedures and support audit activities of the QMS and technical areas in accordance with accreditation requirements.

- Lead efforts to obtain and maintain worldwide hazardous location approvals and regulatory compliance of products using external certification bodies and test labs.

- Manage all regulatory submittals through the complete process to ensure approvals are received in time for planned production.

Requirements

- BSEE and 7+ years related experience.

- Strong project management skills with proven ability to plan, lead and deliver results within budget.

- Experience troubleshooting electronics that include precision analog circuits, power supplies, displays, keypads, microcontroller, analog-digital converters, and digital communication.

-Experience with electrical schematics, PCB layout, PCB artwork files, and mechanical CAD drawings.

-Thorough knowledge of PCB and electronics manufacturing processes.

-Experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated test fixtures involving software.

- Experience in worldwide electronics and mechanical certification marks and compliance standards as well as hazardous locations standards and classifications such as UL, ATEX, IECx, via FM, CSA etc.

- Experience in the QMS standards and certification processes for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015

- Expertise in MS Office applications including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MRP/ERP systems.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Energetic, positive team player with the ability and desire to multi-task and help out where needed.

- Ability and self-motivation to learn quickly and independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
