Job Description: The Plant Engineer oversees all plant safety and environmental concerns in addition to assisting Maintenance with troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and improving equipment performances.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing process development/improvements.
- Equipment Troubleshooting
- Product Quality Improvement Projects
- Capital Equipment Projects
- Tooling/Fixture Design
- Update or create mechanical and electrical drawings
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- Excellent math, verbal, and written skills
- Computer skills – CAD (2D and 3D), Microsoft office
- Ability to identify and use various hand tools and equipment
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance, diagnostics and repair
Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity of 3 phase electrical circuits
- PLC Knowledge and Experience a plus
- Experience with occupational safety and health compliance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
