ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Establish manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, safety and reduce cost.
- Use Solidworks 2021 to design tools, gages and fixtures required for various sheet metal manufacturing processes.
- Work with production and quality departments to ensure fabricated parts meet customer design specifications.
- Working with sales department to effectively communicate machine capability when quoting new production parts.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
- Minimum 5+ Years in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment a plus.
- Understands design platforms such as Solidworks, Pro-E, and AutoCad with the ability to analyze information from these applications and implement designs required.
- CNC machine programming knowledge a plus.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing & 5S preferred.
- Experience in developing robust manufacturing processes.
- Experience in reading and understanding blueprints for fabrication and assembly operations.
- Strong knowledge of Solidworks and DraftSight or AutoCad.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- General knowledge of APQP processes and GD&T
- Ability to grasp complex concepts easily and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
