Job Description Summary :
The Manager, Small Group Sales is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to exceed business goals and leverage market insight to drive priorities and team opportunities.
Job Description
  • Lead team of sales consultants to ensure new business goals are exceeded
  • Lead Account Executives to ensure retention goals are exceeded
  • Account Leverage market intelligence to guide and set forth new business opportunity prioritization
  • Ensure seamless collaboration with customers and brokers
  • Collaborate and partner with Underwriting, Sales Operations and Product Development to improve Small Group processes and product development
  • Establish strategies to cultivate and manage internal and external relationships at all levels
  • Evaluate performance of sales team – drive and foster correct behaviors to achieve new business goals
  • Identify key contacts in order to establish and foster long-term positive customer and broker relationships
  • Communicate closely with brokers on won/lost business to understand sales gaps and identify areas of opportunity
  • Hold team accountable for use of tool for new business development and retention reporting
  • Execute on sales strategy set forth by Sales Leadership
  • Develop and coach team in skills sets that advance personal growth and the goals of the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
  • Minimum 3 years' Supervisory experience
