Job Summary

Responsible for the understanding, preparation, and analysis of data and performance improvement. Responsible for leading analytical and performance improvement initiatives to inform decision making in matters related to efficiency and operational excellence. Continually assesses how data can be used to support and improve clinical outcomes and the patient experience. Align efforts with executive and departmental leaders to meet organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Years of Related Experience
Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree and 5 Years of experience, will consider a Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration with 3 Years of Related Experience
Required Certifications/Licensure: Certified in Lean Six Sigma or must obtain certification within 6 months of entry into role
Required Training: Extensive knowledge of statistical modeling in order to forecast performance to tailor outcomes towards agenda and set benchmarks;

Able to apply market research techniques paired with analytics to solve or resolve complex business challenges. Understands matters pertaining to complex data and information systems;

Strong skills analyzing and/or interpreting raw data.

Essential Functions

  • Develops analytical approaches to inform decision making related to clinical, financial and operational challenges.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for the preparation, analysis, validation and presentation of data.
  • Transform large, raw data sets from multiple internal/external sources into meaningful analyses, actionable insights, and practical information for decision making.
  • Uses knowledge of organizational needs, goals and strategies to identify opportunities where data can be leveraged to achieve desired results.
  • Communicates complex information so that it is easy to understand and influences decision making.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to identifying possible performance improvements, partner with organizational leaders to inform and drive process improvement efforts.
  • Partners with department leaders to identify areas for improvement and helps to prioritize projects.
  • Manages and coordinates process improvement teams and meetings.
  • Assists with the training of team members in process improvement concepts, models and tools.
  • Works successfully in a highly complex, dynamic and stressful environment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
