As Manager, Facilities, you will utilize your strong relationship building skills to lead critical projects while also being responsible for all-things facilities and assisting with lab support. You will form close partnerships with key stakeholders including Quality Control, Engineering, R&D, IT, Finance and HR to drive key facilities and lab related projects. This role will report to the Sr Dir, Facilities and Engineering.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Manage team of technicians at multiple levels of experience to complete day to day facilities tasks.
- Help support short term and long-term infrastructure strategies for supporting company growth.
- Plan and oversee building and equipment maintenance /repair.
- Work with vendors and contractors to manage enhancements, improvements and modifications of office and lab spaces and associated utility services like HVAC, electricity, and plumbing.
- Oversee and manage office and lab cleaning services.
- Maintain equipment in accordance with set schedules and procedures.
- Receive and process work order requests and log in any maintenance and repair work.
- Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers
- Maintain equipment files in accordance with Sarepta SOPs
- Oversee routine maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
- Schedule and assist vendors/contractors in completing work as required.
- Provide support as needed to the Shipping/Receiving Department
- Assist with company-wide safety policies for the Andover site.
- Availability to respond for emergencies during times of extreme weather events.
- Manage Lab contractors to fulfill the following duties:
- Maintain the infrastructure serving the labs like HVAC, exhaust systems, gases, utilities etc.
- Manage the maintenance agreements/contracts for lab equipment and arranging timely maintenance visits working with scientists and vendors.
- Monitor state of the lab equipment and infrastructure for preemptive maintenance and repairs.
- Lead the effort to centralize ordering of goods for the labs and facilities to benefit from discounts, to reduce waste and increase utilization across all groups.
- Work with EHS consultant and scientists to manage the chemical inventory.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and assignments as required.
Desired Education and Skills:
- 5 years of experience in a facilities role
- Ability to plan facilities work using diagrams, drawings, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting skills is required.
- Experience working in a lab environment preferred.
- Understanding of all HVAC systems and ability to work with outside contractors.
- Experience with Boilers preferred.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices.
- Ability to interact with a diverse mix of individuals across all levels of the organization.
- Biopharmaceutical background preferred.
This position requires work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States.
The targeted salary range for this position is $112,000 - $140,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.
