We put effectiveness at the heart of our work to solve complex challenges, drive successful business outcomes, and grow our clients’ businesses. Zenith is part of Publicis Media, the media arm of Publicis Groupe.

Job Description

We don’t all look the same, and we don’t expect you to, either. But successful members of the Analytics team at Zenith generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a fresh perspective, and share it in a positive way, don’t shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more. We look for prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media. We hope you’re a numbers whiz and know how to bring data to life through a compelling story.

Role Objectives:

Analytics Managers form the foundation of the Analytics team. They manage analysts who pull and arrange data from a multitude of sources to feed business-improving insights, then build thoughtful presentations and reports that bring the story home to our clients. They work closely with their directors to learn the most efficient and effective ways of wrangling data and develop skills to become full-fledged storytellers.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing other employees, including supervising work and ensuring the professional development of analysts. Analytics managers are also project managers, who prioritize both internal and external stakeholders. This includes organizing, owning, and presenting our reporting deliverables on a monthly and ad hoc basis. This is a client-facing role, with weekly status calls and frequent communication with stakeholders. Managers also must develop a deep understanding of the ETL processes in order to support and evolve our reporting process and measurement framework, all while addressing client needs and handling or escalating issues where necessary. They also liaison with data and service providers and other D&A teams such as Data Engineering and Data Governance.

This role will support Zenith’s work with a large pharmaceutical client. You will help own reporting on a number of major diabetes, immunology, oncology and neurology brands. You and your team will explore and help refine leading and lagging metrics that empower our strategy and media buying teams to optimize digital campaigns across channels, from streaming services to social networks and partner websites. Our clients are innovative and hungry, and so are we. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and change, able to juggle multiple projects and develop deep insights that speak to multiple audiences. Our managers and analysts are more than number crunchers; they are data detectives who seek to answer the “why” behind the trend. They are strong communicators with a desire to be client facing and develop the skills needed to take on greater people and project management responsibilities.

  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing/Advertising or related field, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with large data sets or conducting quantitative analysis

  • Experience or knowledge of Agency, Digital Media, Marketing/Advertising industries highly preferred

  • Experience managing and/or mentoring team members, whether in a direct report or dotted-line relationship

  • Ability to service clients, partners, and internal stakeholders by understanding needs, translating those needs into creative solutions, and delivering on those solutions with diligence and a sense of urgency

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak and write effectively for a variety of audience types and management levels

  • Experience and comfort with presenting work by phone, Zoom or within small groups

  • Comfort in a remote or hybrid environment, where most interactions with teammates and clients are virtual
