Title: Make Ready Tech - Baton Rouge, LA

Rampart/Wurth Holding, Inc, a top leader in the property management business currently has a Make Ready Tech opening for a Multi-family Complex.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance/repair, as directed, involving the following on a daily basis:
• Electrical and plumbing (including water lines), A/C and heating systems, Boiler, gas and electric.
• Door locks and keys, P.O. boxes and locks, Security systems (where applicable).
• Ceiling leaks, Walls, General Carpentry, Painting.
• Inspects and completes all needed make-ready repairs and services.
• Reports all major repairs and need requisitions to Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager
• Be knowledgeable of inventory levels of spare parts and supplies and inform Maintenance Supervisor of shortages.
• Position may require rotation “on call” work, depending on property requirements.
• Position may require that this position float to other LBPMI properties, depending on business need.
• Performs any additional duties assigned by Manager.

Qualifications:

• One year, direct experience in maintenance or equivalent field.
• HVAC Certification may be required, depending upon position.
• Painting and general repair and maintenance experience
• Strong working knowledge and skilled in the use of required equipment/machinery:
• Hand Tools – Various wrenches, hammer, grips, saws, sledgehammer, snips, posthole diggers, etc.
• Power Tools - Grinders, sanders, drills, saws, etc.
• User-Moved Aids – Wheelbarrows, dollies, hand trucks, buckets, hoists, jacks, step ladders, full ladders, double ladders.
• Measuring devices – Calipers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, testing meters, PH Tests, gauges, etc.
• Proactive, initiate follow-through. Must supply own hand tools and HVAC gauges.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• general repair, painting and maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Property management maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
