We are currently hiring a Full Time Apartment Maintenance Technician for an established affordable housing community in Old Town Pittsburg.

We are looking for applicants with the following skills:

• Apartment Maintenance Repair Experience
• Experience Turning Vacant Units
• Appliance Repair Experience
• HVAC Repair Experience
• Plumbing and Electrical repair experience
• Knowledge of Building Systems
• Ability to Work as a Team and Meet Deadlines
• Ability to Follow Company Policies and Procedures
• Ability to Communicate Problems and Offer Solutions
• Ability to set priorities and complete assigned tasks
• Experience with 3rd party Agency Inspections: TAX CREDIT, Housing Authority, etc.

Daily Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Completing Work Orders Efficiently
• Maintaining the Property Curb Appeal daily
• Turning Vacant Units per procedure
• Appliance, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing Repairs
• Drywall & Painting Repairs
• Conducting Unit Inspections
• Working as a Team
• Preparing for Inspections
• Offering Excellent Customer Service
• Following all company policies & procedures, fair housing laws, etc.
• Ability to respond to After-Hours maintenance emergencies
• Picking Up Trash around the property, cleaning out trash enclosures and chutes
• Other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Compensation Details:

• Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• $17 - $18 Hourly Pay Rate - based on experience and budget
• Possibility of a Rent-Free 1 bedroom apartment
