Job description
- Deliver copy paper and other office supplies as requested.
- Unload trucks and assist with deliveries.
- Clean the common areas of all county buildings.
- Empty outside trash receptacles.
- Performs outside custodial duties such as snow removal and mowing, landscaping, trimming trees and lawn.
- Move furniture and rearrange offices.
- Painting office walls or other areas in county buildings as assigned.
- Replace light bulbs and ballasts.
- Responsible for and maintains recycling materials for the county.
- Perform other assigned tasks as required.
- Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), one (1) year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience with maintenance duties
- Ability to use lawn mowers, weed trimmers, snow blowers, push carts, mop buckets and any other equipment used in the Maintenance Department
- Must have basic problem-solving skills and be able to handle multiple tasks with interruptions
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain confidentiality
- Must have valid driver’s license
