MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / MANUFACTURING / MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL

Seeking a Maintenance Technician ready to take their career to the next level by becoming an employee-owner. Primary responsibilities include predictive and preventative maintenance, repair and upkeep of manufacturing machines and support of a safe work environment. HOURS:

• 1st Shift
• 6 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday
• Overtime available on Saturdays
• We offer a 10% Shift Premium

Scot Forge is an employee-owned company that manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings used in demanding applications all over the world.

Scot Forge has locations in Franklin Park, Spring Grove, IL, and Clinton, WI.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES -

• 1 - 2 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance environment
• Experience with industrial furnaces, CNC, presses, band saws, etc.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and preventative maintenance
• Experience with building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation
• Fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion
• Detailed oriented with proactive preventative maintenance
• Able to climb ladders and work at elevations up to 60 feet, Standing/ Walking over 50% of day

QUALIFICATIONS –

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of plant or industrial maintenance
• Strong mechanical, repair and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge in 480V 3 phase power (preferred)
• Associates degree in Industrial Mechanic Technical or Electro-Mechanical or successful completion of Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
