Job description

Maintenance and remodeling of the Rimrock’s buildings and caretaking of grounds. Minor boiler and air conditioning maintenance. Assure adherence to state statutes and rules, CARF standards, and federal regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Positively represents the organization and promotes Rimrock’s Mission to the community.


Required Skills
  • Update and complete all work orders as assigned in Worxhub or Director of Facilities.
  • Conduct rounds and take daily water test on boiler as assigned and do check readings on boiler and air handler.
  • Maintenance of all off-site facilities including routine maintenance, upkeep and repair.
  • Prune, water, mow, trim and weed outside shrubbery and lawns.
  • Complete interior and exterior painting as assigned.
  • Monitor parking of employees, patients and visitors in parking lot.
  • Responsible for cleaning parking area and walkways, including snow, leaf and debris removal from sidewalks.
  • Clean first floor windows on inside and outside.
  • Set up group rooms for meetings and family week.
  • Responsible for cleaning boiler room and all storage areas of building.
  • Change filters and clean inside of all heating/cooling units of building including boiler room and penthouse.
  • Run errands and do all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Fill the pop machines.
  • Assist with food delivery when necessary.
  • Provide floor care relief as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining fleet of vehicles: fueling, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
  • General carpentry and remodeling, including reading blue prints, framing, plumbing, sheet rocking, mudding and taping.
  • Complete landscaping projects to include sprinkler systems, sod, planting and removing plants and trees, and any other projects assigned by Director of Facilities.

Required Experience


EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High school education, special vocational training.

CERTIFICATE OR LICENSE: Current driver’s license and State of Montana Boiler Maintenance License preferred.

SKILLS: Ability to read, measure and calculate. Ability to safely use basic maintenance tools and painting equipment. Ability to interact in a friendly and courteous manner with residents and other staff.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normally consists of work included in general maintenance and boiler engineering. Some use of phone necessary. Lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds from time to time. Stooping, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching about 75% of the time. Full manual dexterity required. Driving of company vehicle required. Ability to climb ladders and maintain balance on ladders.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB LOCATIONS: Indoors and outdoors at all Facility locations.
