Maintenance Technician
Job description
Under the supervision of the Community Manager, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general maintenance and carpentry tasks.
Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills and proficient knowledge of:
- Building and facility maintenance
- Plumbing systems
- Submeter utility systems and meter reading (gas, electric and water)
- Groundskeeping and landscape
- Swimming pool maintenance
- General carpentry
- Skilled in operating various hand tools, landscaping equipment, general maintenance equipment and safety equipment
- Abie to work independently as well as part of a team
- Available to respond to occasional urgent maintenance issues outside of normal business hours
2 years of general maintenance experience preferred
COMPENSATION:
Option 1: $28.00 per hour with a benefits package after completion of a probationary period; or
Option 2: $23.00 per hour with a housing credit towards the rental of an onsite apartment and a benefits package after completion of a probationary period.
