Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the Physical Plant of the hospital in reliable operation and in good repair. Performs upkeep of the Physical Plant performing carpentry related functions as they relate to maintenance and repair of Hospital facilities upkeep, renovations and construction. Works with wood, metal or synthetic material to construct, repair, modify, rebuild or install typical building systems and components of hospital properties such as, but not limited to, wall systems, ceiling systems, floors, doors, frames, shelving, cabinet systems, ceiling (IV and curtain) tracks, patient area wall hardware, locks, door hardware and other equipment and hardware as required.
