Maintenance Technician-Full Time

Full-time Maintenance Technician position available at a mid-sized apartment complex. We are looking for a hardworking, driven individual with strong people skills.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

· Maintain a high level of customer service, including communicating effectively with residents, co-workers and vendors.

· Snow Removal

· On-call responsibilities when assigned (rotating schedule with other staff)

· Complete maintenance requests - requiring mechanical aptitude in the following: Plumbing; Flooring; Drywall; Electrical; General Carpentry

Education/Experience:

· No specific level of education is required. A minimum of one to two years of previous experience or comparable experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or a related trade.

Technical Competencies/Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:

· EPA Certification Type I, if you don’t currently have, must obtain within 1 year.

· Valid Driver’s License, current automobile insurance and acceptable driving record.

· Spend 90%+ of time performing hands on repairs/maintenance/turnover work. Able to transport/move a minimum of 50 lbs. variable distances

· Ability to work outdoors in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees or below 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
