Job Summary:

This position requires the ability to analyze maintenance problems and make suggestions for corrective action. This position also provides maintenance support to manufacturing.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Good analytical, coordination, organization, and communication skills (both verbal and written).

• Good mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, investigate problems and devise workable solutions, and follow up to ensure proper resolution of problems.
• Administer Pm program and ensure Pm’s are completed on time.
• Ability to provide guidance, technical assistance, and instruction, as well as be able to supervise, train, and administer company policies and procedures.
• Schedule Maintenance coverage for weekends and during the week.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Understanding of Maintenance.
• Be self-motivated through good work habits and attitude.
• Guide Repairs and maintenance in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers’ measuring and testing instruments.
• Uses applicable reference materials and, at the direction of the manager, may be required to use specialized reference materials.
• May serve as a helper in a group of two where a more experienced person is required.
• Performs all duties in compliance with safety regulations.

Skills:

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, technical procedures, drawings and machine manuals.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• The ability to interact professionally with employees, customers and suppliers at all levels. Must have the ability to interact with both Japanese and Amerians.
• The ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; and work well in group problem solving.
• Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others.
• Ability to demonstrate effective group and individual communication skills.
• Guide the Maintenance deptartment to clearly document completed work in computerized maintenance management system.
• Must be team oriented and demonstrate problem solving abilities.
• Skilled in use of calipers, micrometers, welding equipment, lathe, drill press, grinder and other metal-working tools and hand-tools.

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor Degree preferred
• 4 years of maintenance related experience
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
