JOB DESCRIPTION
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic in Park Rapids, MN. This candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, machinery, and physical structures in the food processing plant.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Machinery Installation, Maintenance, or Repair Experience
- Certificate from College or Technical School (Highly Preferred)
- Own set of hand tools
- Responsible for working in a safe and orderly manner while in the plant or on plant property.
- Visually inspects and test machinery and equipment.
- Listens for unusual sounds and views machines and equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantles defectives machines and equipment and installs new repaired parts.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related steam and refrigeration, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulations, and related equipment.
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
