Role Purpose Statement: The job incumbent will have the responsibility to provide safe, reliable, cost-effective facilities and equipment within the responsible Customer Service Centers (CSCs) as related to Facilities Maintenance. The position will oversee our CSCs at the three (3) South Florida area airports – MIA145/MIA1366/FLL1682.

Facilities

Ø Ensure buildings are properly maintained and meet the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and local Building/Fire Codes.

Ø Conduct site assessments to identify areas of improvement pertaining to building and equipment life safety, equipment reliability, and asset deterioration.

Ø Manage the facilities corrective and planned maintenance program utilizing the AEM Infor CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Ø Manage all aspects for directing the In-House Maintenance staff of >10 employees.

Ø Work closely with the Regional Facilities team on the planning and execution of Capital Improvement projects.

Ø Develop and manage relationships with outside service providers for the repair and maintenance of building systems that are not maintained by local maintenance staff.

Ø Work closely with CSC Finance Director to manage the monthly Maintenance budget and PO process.

Ø Support CSC leadership as a technical resource.

Ø Support operations in the continual improvement process.

Leadership

Ø Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed.

Ø Guide, motivate and develop the subordinate employees within the Human Resources Policy.

Ø Participates in coaching the expanded Performance Management System (Profile) process, as well as additional career development activities to enhance the effectiveness and potential of the team

Ø Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Ø Degree in Construction, Engineering or related technical field preferred.

Ø Five to seven years of experience in engineering, maintenance, process improvements, food and/or manufacturing environment, equipment and regulations required.

Ø Proficiency with major building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and HVACR systems.

Ø Minimum 5 years of management experience required.

Ø Project Management Professional (PMP) experience in construction strongly desired

Ø Good understanding of governmental regulations, permitting process, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) State and Local regulations, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations.

Ø Ability to oversee/lead Capex/Expense projects.

Ø Application of engineering principles and knowledge of maintenance protocols.

Ø Good understanding of requirements for stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) and equipment handling procedures.

Ø Knowledge of CMMS Systems (Infor AEM) preferred.

Ø Proven analytical and leadership skills.

Ø Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ø Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills required, combined with an aptitude for multi-tasking; the ability to interact at senior levels.
