Mariani Packing Company, the largest independent dried fruit processor and packer in the United States. Due to recent expansion and acquisitions in Central Wisconsin, we are expanding our accounting staff and have an immediate opening for an Accounting Assistant in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. We are located on the east side of Wisconsin Rapids, just off Hwy 54 and only 15 minutes from Plover.

This role is responsible for the efficiency and safety of all plant electrical equipment and power distribution. Use knowledge and experience to apply NFPA 70E and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 with regards to safe work practices to protect worker safety. E/I Tech is to maintain equipment to keep it running smoothly, perform tests and calibrations, repair or replace components and troubleshoot equipment operational problems. Must have a personal dedication to safety, including proactive support of efforts to create a culture of safety excellence. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.

Essential Functions
Perform preventative maintenance inspection of assigned equipment, report findings in computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
Advise operators, mechanics, and other electrical maintenance personnel of standard operating procedures and requirements for electronic and electrical equipment and controls.
Manage changes to our systems by keeping programs backed-up and updating documentation, schematics, and drawings.
Ability to efficiently and effectively use CMMS to create work orders; maintains proper inventory levels for common electrical components and prepares orders for necessary material and parts.
Ability to accurately maintain record keeping for E/I repairs and maintenance functions.
Perform tests and maintenance procedures for instruments used for measuring and controlling flow, level, pressure, temperature, chemical composition and other variables in manufacturing and processing.
Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturer’s specifications.
Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes.
Troubleshoots manufacturing and facility equipment for electrical and E&I malfunctions.
Performs all types of plantwide electrical maintenance, maintenance wiring, installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting, testing, programmable logic controllers, and power circuits in compliance with the national electric code.
Utilization of maintenance strategies including preventive and predictive maintenance.
Collaborate with Management and outside contractors on capital projects.
Loads, troubleshoots, and tests PLC and HMI programs.
Ensures that Food Safety Measures are adhered to in all operations.
Install, maintains, replaces and/or repairs faulty electrical components of machinery and control instrumentation such as relays, motors, switches, printed circuit boards and position sensing devices.
Participates in the training of apprentices and new employees.
Provides technical expertise to lower grade positions.
Read/Interpret prints, wiring schematics, wiring diagrams, flow charts and operating instructions/manuals to determine work procedure and diagnose problems.
Inspects motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, controls, and power circuits.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications
Minimum of three years of industrial electrical, E&I and maintenance experience.
Knowledge of proper termination requirements for a wide variety of electrical outlets, switches, motors, transformers, controls, and lighting devices.
Must demonstrate the ability to complete tasks as assigned and provide positive inputs to set priorities and the ability to make sound decisions while working on tasks in a timely manner.
Identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems in electrical and controls wiring occur in production equipment and systems; be able to plan and install various levels of voltage power lines, e.g., 110v, 220v, up to 480v, three phase and single-phase, AC/DC motors, VFDs, servo motor, HMI, and PLC I/O modules.
Must be able to run tests, isolate problems, replace faulty sections of wiring, lay conduit, and perform other tasks as necessary.
Programs PLC’s, PC’s, Works with Ethernet communication networks.
Excellent mechanical knowledge and skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Must be punctual and regular attendance required.
Ability to respond quickly to requests and must be able to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as production/workflow changes, Respond to emergency call-ins.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry heavy items, up to 60 lbs.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Must be able to safely operate a forklift and boom lift.
