Position Overview:
Navistar is seeking a Maintenance Dispatcher to join our team!

The Navistar Maintenance Team at our San Antonio Texas Manufacturing Facility is responsible for ensuring World Class availability of production equipment & facilities producing Class 6 to 8 diesel and electric vehicles. The Dispatcher Position is the cornerstone, accountable for receiving all customers’ requirements across the facility, prioritizing work and assigning personnel to respond to the issue. This individual is THE Air Traffic Controller of all functions across the manufacturing complex.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring all activities across the facility and serves as the focal point for understanding and resolving all Maintenance issues
  • Effective status monitoring of all assets and facilities
  • Prioritizing down time and critical assets to ensure limited resources are applied to the top priorities
  • Documenting issues, actions and materials in CMMS relative to daily events
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
OR
  • At least 2 yrs of manufacturing/production experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

  • CMMS experience (SAP Ideal)
  • Management or experience leading a small team
  • Technical Aptitude
  • Ability to work across all departments of a Manufacturing Plant
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
